Can I Return My Gown?
The Dressing Room West does not offer in-house alterations but we provide our brides with recommendations for wonderful, trusted seamstresses.
Who do you recommend for alterations?
Wedding gown sizes typically run one or two sizes smaller than regular street size clothing, so we do not focus on gown size. Each designer tends to run differently, so our goal is to fit the bride into the dress that best suits her body; and alterations adds the finishing touch.
Why is wedding dress sizing different than my 'normal' clothing size?
The Dressing Room West hosts only one bridal appointment at a time, so the bride may bring as many guests as she’d like. We do have an intimate space, so parties greater than six may have some standing room only.
How many guests can I bring with me to my appointment?
The Dressing Room West provides each bride and her guests with one-on-one service. We only schedule one appointment at a time so each bride receives exclusive access to the store for her 90-minute appointment. Bridal parties are welcome to bring along champagne and/or treats to celebrate the occasion.
Why is your store By Appointment Only?
While we often have a limited selection of clearance gowns available for $500, the majority of our collection is priced $900-$1,400.
What is the price range of your gowns?
It's never too late or too early to start shopping at The Dressing Room West! All of our gowns are available off-the-rack (meaning the bride will take the dress home that day), however the bride will also need to factor up to 8 weeks for alterations.
